Frogs

For any type of service above or below ground Kimes Steel & Rail, Inc. can provide a frog suited to your job. For light traffic, welded-plate and manganese steel frogs find wide application. For more severe duty, the bolted-rigid or manganese steel frogs are recommended. Where both rolling stock and traffic are extremely heavy, rail-bound manganese or cast manganese frogs are most suitable. The manganese steel frog has long life even under very severe operating conditions.
